There are two main kinds of inpatient treatment programs that are available in Idaho. That said, it is important to say that each inpatient treatment program in Idaho is different from the rest in its own way, because of various reasons. But, broadly, they can be classified into two forms, i.e. inpatient treatment with detox and inpatient treatment without detox. You must know at least this classification before entering into an addiction treatment program in Idaho.

So what do the inpatient treatment programs without detoxification in Idaho do if the patient has been since long into the addiction and surely needs some form of detox? In that case, they would refer the patient to an outside detox center. Such programs will associate with several detox centers in their vicinity and when there are patients that need detox, they will refer these patients to these detox centers. Once the detox program is completed, the patients will be taken back into the original center where the aftercare therapy is provided. Complementary to this, the detox centers won’t have an aftercare program of their own, so they will not mind sending their patients to the inpatient program for the aftercare.

The inpatient programs that do have an in-house detox program will be more convenient to patients. Also, they may charge lower for the package treatments of detox and the counseling aftercare.

In addition, each inpatient program has their own policies and methods of working, and also the medicinal therapies employed are different from one program to another.
